Hi Atlanta fishes, I’m moving to Atlanta in coming months and looking for your advice & recommendations for neighborhood and apartment search prior to in-person visit soon. Background & factors: - Male / single / age 30 (I like city life and going out yet prefer relatively calm place during weekdays than too much exposure to crowd & street noise) – heard ATL midtown isn’t too loud anyways - For monthly rent (1BD or studio), I would prefer $1800~$2000 range but can afford up to ~$2100+ (cont’d)
MCO, 6a Sunday. Must have been a rough night
Have you noticed (either in school or in person) that social-distancing and cleaning standards are becoming more lax?
My wife has a job opportunity in San Diego. We are thinking about moving from dc. Anyone have thoughts on sd? We have visited a few times, but mostly for touristy things.
Anyone have thoughts on Hudson Advisors/Lone Star Funds if you’re in the dfw area? Know anything about working there? Don’t know much about them, if anything at all
Best way to get to San Diego from LAX? Are there any shuttles / shared ride options at all?
Dear ACN consultant that talked to me on the bus to DFW, let's grab a drink if you haven't left yet.
30F, thinking about separating from my marriage and looking at cities I could move to. Currently working in ATL and I’d need to come back at least once a month(prefer driving) since I’d still be working/based here. Ideas on affordable yet fun cities? I make 120k right now & I’d prob take the dog with me. TIA! 💚💜
First time back through LGA post facelift. Terminal B (AA) are there restaurants/bars open? Or is a Hudson News my only shot at food
The only thing I’m looking forward to at EWR:
A3 in San Jose?
Channel Islands LAX -> SFO
I’m sure this has been asked 100 times before but newbie here. Looking for a recommendation on which airline to use as preferred for points/status/etc... ideally flying out of DCA.
Have an offer for $110K pre-tax in consulting and have the option to choose between Boston, DC, Seattle, and San Francisco. I prefer East Coast but which cities would allow me to save the most versus the least? Trying to understand cost of living in these cities, 27M Single, just FYI.
Going to Austin for F1 race in October for the first time. Race is Friday-Sunday. Planning on staying and checking out Austin Monday and Tuesday. I’m on vacation 5 more days (thru sunday). Should I do hill country and San Antonio? Fly to Mexico? Thanks for any suggestions! And if you have race suggestions let me know!
3 single consultants at DFW. Who's here?
Anyone have reward redemption suggestions for DCA->LA/San Diego? I have a mountain of Marriott and UR points
Any gay male fishies in San Diego?
I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.
Finally got into Chicago after a bunch of delays in SFO, and my uber driver missed exit and the trip is now 20 minutes longer due to rerouting :(
We have had an extremely tough start to the year. I am second guessing my decision to continue teaching (year 20). What are some options for teachers that don’t involve the classroom or direct sale
Wish I were a baby right now. I'm tired and hungry and it would be so nice to take a nap and then cry until someone feeds me.
How do you handle being completely burnt out with 6 months left to go on a project, and no chance for vacation?
Thinking about transferring from EY US to EY London. I'm a staff 1 and unfortunately didn't win the visa lottery. Any thoughts of how hard it is to transfer?
Working in Chinese company, with office based in China but working remotely outside of China. Fine and legal to work there without a work visa if im not living in China right?
Hi.. I Appeared for an interview for RPA - Automation Anywhere. I didn't got any response after the interview. Then when I reached hiring manager through LinkedIn I got to know I cleared all the rounds but my expected cts is high so they might have rejected. First thing is I never said what I am expecting . And I clearly told In managerial round that I am open for salary discussion. But no one responded. Will I get the call back in time? Or I just leave it and go ahead with other companies?
🐟 folks - anybody know good immigration lawyers in New York or Virginia. Need it for a H-1b friend who is not in the big 4.
What do you do after your interviews? Are you expected to continue networking with current students while you wait for the admission decision?
What are the top 5 BCG fit interview questions to prepare? I’m coming from Big 4 Advisory if that matters

I’m a 2017 associate in NYC biglaw. I logged approx. 2300 billable hours in 2019. Is that light, normal or heavy in the biglaw market for RE associates at my level? Thanks in advance for thoughts.
I have an interview tomorrow with an ECD at an agency that is showing some red flags. But I’m at an agency now that is just one giant red flag and is driving me crazy. Do I take the jump to the other agency (if they offer me the job) or stick it out at my current job and hope something with no red flags comes along?
