What year in your career did you start making 6 figures? I've been in product marketing for the last 7 years, and it seems like dreaming of 6 figures is going to be all I'll get to do. I see PM being very close to many roles in sales, and want to consider a shift if this is a space where that dream is more accessible. “Job hopper” and “quiet quitting” are all schemes made up by boomers to make you think everything is the employees fault. When in reality people are just getting out of bad situations. Older companies do whatever they can to pay you the least amount and get the max work out of you. Except our generation will just leave amid we’re being mistreated, not complain for 35 years making 50k and 0 advancement.
