Canceling of the American Mind. I also read Coddling - the precursor. I really liked both books.
For YA, Michael Mohr just released "The Crew", set in the area where I work. It's a GREAT book.
I just finished The Fox Wife. It was a little repetitive in some places but I really enjoyed the mythology of it. The love stories in it were sweet too.

I'm reading the Lovely War for book club
After being heavily influenced by booktok, I read Fourth Wing, and I'm halfway through Iron Flame. Super good, and I'm looking forward to additional books in the series.
I’m almost done with the last book in the throne of glass series! 10/10 recommend!
The Women by Kristin Hannah is so good! Little long but such a great story about women nurses in Vietnam!
“The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down” by Anne Fadiman
It’s about a Hmong refugee family from Vietnam who landed in California, their epileptic daughter, and her American neurologists. It’s also about how very different cultures grapple with one another, both looking to optimize care for a single child but coming at it from different perspectives. Written by an investigative journalist who interviewed all participants thoroughly. Really engaging and thoughtful.

Anything by Susan Warren is a great read. I love the way so many of her characters interact with each other throughout the different series that she writes.
Solito by Javier Zamora, How The Word Gets Passed, and I reread The Handmaids Tale. All good reads.
It depends on your taste, of course, but I've read several Freida McFadden books lately. I would put them in the category of psychological thriller. Her books almost always have an ending the reader is not at all expecting. Karin Slaughter is another author I enjoy.
