One tweak that changed things for me was starting every client call with a genuinely curious question about their current challenges, instead of jumping right into my pitch. It built trust faster and turned more conversations into real opportunities. And yes, in my first year, I also worried that sales wouldn’t ever “click” and become lucrative. Progress felt slow and often discouraging. But once I found my rhythm and focused on relationship-building instead of just transactions, things started to turn around. If you stick with it, experiment, and keep learning, it really does start to pay off!
You have to be fluid. Figure out what works best for you and who you are talking to. Every client will need those tweaks. Still hit times where I have to recalculate, but it does get easier to do.
