How did you give notice you were lateraling to people you like? Particularly if you haven't been there that long?

I'm lateraling to another firm because frankly I think the management of this one is terrible, but the people (and individual partners) I actually work with are awesome. I've only been here for about 18 months, so I imagine that short time frame will make it extra awkward 😬

Hello my fellow shoal of fish. I am seeking recommendations for a lounge chair in my office. I currently have the adjustable stand desk and a relatively comfortable office chair (not when reclining) but the other half of my office is empty. Im putting in a 55” tv and need a recliner, lounge chair, or something of the sorts to put in front of the tv. Something where i can put my feet up. Conference calls are such a drag when i have to sit at my desk.

Did anyone else get an invoice from the WHO for Covid Response for $50 from PayPal? Part of me is hoping it’s a phishing scam because that would be pretty ridiculous to charge me making me think I owed money - but the invoice and email looks like it is really from the WHO.

Seeing so many posts about people still not seeing the parents and family because of COVID is making me so sad. 😞 when does it end? Loved ones are going to pass before there is a vaccine. Life is just passing us by and it’s so sad.
