Initially interview was for I grade in fund accounting. After documentation hr said they r hiring me for h grade I get ready for that too with offer of 12 lakh. I know that some other associates at my level are approximately 30% behind other associates in hours on a month to month basis. Lit boutique v. full-service statewide regional firm as mid-level commercial lit lateral out of biglaw. Things to consider? Pay and non-equity partnership prospects are similar with similar timeline. Regional firm has a much stronger presence in my city, while boutique would involve a more national practice and possibly more sophisticated work. Fwiw I know some people at the regional firm and the people seem awesome. The boutique is full of well-accomplished and super smart lawyers. Need advice!
