Not being tracked ??? I thought Wells mimicked JPMC - they track us in detail and even we 💩. I need to switch banks ASAP
They track everything we do, time in and out of office, apps being used, calls… everything is tracked
I stay unpredictable and come and go without interacting with my team lol
All that counts in the end is 60%
On paper, you are assigned a "pattern", which determines which days you are supposed to come in. However, this can be discussed with your manager and is not tracked by any means.
The actual policy is to be in 60% of days in the past 3 months. Which specific days you come in is very flexible, and totally team dependent.
I just come in the days I feel like it making sure I meet my 60%.
Yup, JPMC tracks employees % of in office days. Well, six months ago this was still part of topics / conversations between MD & ED.
Hey, I went from Deloitte to JPMC too
I have a friend who works at JPMorgan Chase and she said that it depends on your manager. She said her manager is really flexible on what days they come in office but she did think it was being tracked somehow so I wouldn't assume that they don't track it.
At Wells we have neighborhoods and even sub neighborhoods when you have micromanagement leaders
Hybrid work schedule is dependent upon department and LOB and not necessarily dependent upon your manager.
Your team is assigned a specific set of days that you must be in the office (ex. Mon, Tues and Thur). When you badge into the office at the security turn stall, your attendance is reported for that day and monitored in the system.
While there is some “flexibility”, don’t expect to change your non-WFH days on a permanent basis. In fact, if you miss an assigned in office day, be expected to “make it up”.
Someone did mention that your attendance is 60%, and yes that’s partially true. 60% is your adherence based on 3 days in office 100% of the time. Since not every month has the same amount of in office days, your attendance numbers will slightly fluctuate above 60%, and will only come down if you miss a day or two (where you don’t use your PTO, sick time etc).
Hope this helps and congratulations on your endeavor
Having set fays varies by location and role. My team does not have set days, they just need to come in 60% of the time on the 12 week rolling average.
Days in the office are tracked but not enforced anywhere. So although people on my team have their in office “patterns” none actually stick to it. I’m on a floor that can’t use Bookit though so could be part of the reason
Wells have invaded this post 😂
Hi All, I am a Technical project manager and I currently applied to JPMC London.
Could I kindly get a referral for the Product Management Associate Role with Job Number 210530822 . Would really appreciate as I heard your best chance of an interview is via referral.
When I interviewed with JP earlier in the year, I was told days that you have meetings and you couldn’t work from home both Mondays and Fridays, which happen to be when I usually do work from home. I thought that was kind of annoying but it might have been department specific.
My latest company had the same rule about Mondays and Fridays - CEO said nobody would be having a 3 day weekend. A lot of people felt insulted - like he was saying we hadn’t worked through the whole pandemic then.
Make sure you hit that 60%. I was 55%. Talked to my boss, she said I was fine and I had 3 moths to make it up. Then I was fired out of the blue, no warning from HR in Jan for not hitting 60%. They had a directive sent down to make people an example ...and I guess they did. Don't think they are flexible and don't take your managers word for anything. I worked there 10 years was stabbed in the back many times there. It's part of the culture.
In my old department at Wells we were tracked all the way down to the key strokes. I left that department and no longer hear a peep from my manager. Guess it depends on the department and manager preferences.
Also for wells in my department. We are 3 in 2 out doesn't matter the days, but we have to work atleast Monday or Friday, but they are flexible on that too
God forbid you all go back to the office and actually work. I am a finance regional manager and we have been 100% in the office even during Covid. Guess what? Covid were the best 3 years our company has ever seen. It was because we kept doing what we were supposed to, work!
People cannot effectively work and be trusted to do their jobs without being in the office. So best of luck to anyone who still has remote. This will all come to an end one day…if you don’t want to go to work they will find someone who does.
It’s actually been proved that remote work has been very effective but some jobs like your that involves f2f contact then so be in. Off course some people abuse it but I am personally more productive when I work from home - no distractions and I get my work done more efficiently
A strict 5 day onsite policy they track your attendance from your staff badge and send on to HR/LM if it is below the 60% must have valid reason for WFH
Where, in what department?
