260K TC is a little on the low side but not wildly so.
I don’t know if I’d even say this is low. Seems pretty within the range to me, as SCC1 is suggesting.
Is $260k total comp or base salary?
Chief
They said total comp
Agree with above, not bad for a small company but I feel you on wanting more given you are in VHCOL. you will have best luck at a larger company (think FAANG, fintech/finance, or healthcare) at getting more. Focus on getting referrals and interview well.

even if you dont get more, you will have a better time , career stability wise

For comparison, I’m also 7 YOE with a similar biglaw/in-house breakdown. I just got a new job for 380K TC for Seattle but I think that’s at the high end of what we can get with our experience right now.

Omg that’s awful I’m sorry. I just crossed my two year mark. I’m sure you will find something much better!
Seems pretty normal unless you’re in tech or a few other industries
I am a 7th year now (6 full YOE), also with 4 yrs in big law + remainder in current in house role. Currently making 220k base + 20% bonus + 30k annual RSU grant, bringing TC to 294k. This is in Atlanta, so MCOL market.
I would say 250-300 is market. You could get to the 350-400 range but would require luck.
