I recommended a candidate for hire to a manager that reports directly to me. This person is a perfect match, but wanted the manager to obviously recommend. It has to be a fit. The manager just told me my recommendation is not her top pick. I feel frustrated because as much as we talk about the position, I wonder if we are mot aligned on criteria. What do I do? I am expecting an offer from Master Card for Senior Software Engineer position in O Fallon MO. Please let me know what kind of base salary I can expect with 11 yrs experience . Has anyone ever done aggression training for their dog? Met with a trainer who basically wants us to either keep our dog crated or on a leash at all times and said no pets or play time for now. Our dog has been acting out ever since we brought home our newborn and also bit our groomer. Trainer has me terrified that the dog will hurt the baby but my heart is breaking that I can’t give any “love” to my dog right now. Any similar experiences or thoughts?

Hi Sharks, I need help. I have approx 10 yoe in DWBI, ETL, AWS, Python, SQL. I need to switch. WLB is my priority. Due to current work hours from 10 am to 10 pm and some time 11 pm and 12 pm I am not able to give time to my wife, my kid, myself , my health. I used to call my parents every night and talk to them for 45-50 minutes. Now I get to talk to them for 5-10 min and some days not even this.
