Yes. $5k if done within the first year of start date, $3k if within 2 years. They pay for Becker and one round of your testing fees
I came in as entry but non-campus with time between graduation and start. I passed then all before starting and still got the bonus. Took a little bit of back and forth, but the deciding factor was that I was not at a firm that offered testing/study support. If you’re coming from private, may be ok. If you’re coming from public, your timeline will probably carry over from your prior experience if they had exam/becker reimbursement and a bonus. They won’t let you double dip if someone else paid for anything. If the firm you’re coming from is making you pay back anything prorata, may be able to get that portion from GT. Best advice is to get it in writing if someone says they’ll pay anything
BDO is $3k passing with a year and $1.5k within 18 months. However both dates were just extended by 6 months, not sure if that’s temporary or permanent
I want to add that BDO only gives to entry level associate, not including experience hiring. While when I was at EY, experienced hires can also claim that bonus.
Thank you 😊
3k one year after graduation and it decreases every year afterwards
Also Becker and one round of fees
$5k for passing in the first year, $3k for passing in your second year. EY pays for Becker and first round of exams. Additional $5k for the EWS award.
Oh there’s 0 chance I’m getting that 😂
Pdubs 6k.
6k for audit, 5k for tax. Not sure about advisory. Know someone who got the extra 20k for EWS a couple years ago but not sure if they are still doing that
Does this apply to experienced hires at all firms? For example - if I started at BDO after college and did not get the bonus and exhausted the reimbursement for study materials that have now expired (still haven’t taken the exams), if I transferred firms as a senior would I be able to essentially start over? Would I be eligible for Becker and the CPA bonus?
