Same question here. Got an offer from them
OP, drop a burner and I’ll connect with you. Depends on the vertical / team
@IBM1 - I am a Sr. Consultant in the digital strategy practice. It is about 175 people in North America divided into three sub-groups: Digital Advisory, Org Change Management, and Transformation Leadership (PMO). Digital Advisory tends to have the most strategic work though I'd say that roughly 50% of the work still tends to be project management. OCM is a strong group if you are into that. The practice has gone through significant shuffling at all levels in the last 12 months and now the focus is on growth so it might be a good time to join because there is room to grow for there right persons. Leadership is trying hard to focus on selling more and more advisory projects but it remains to be seen how successful that will be.
C1, just wanted to point out that was a super useful post. Wish there were more people like you on FB! 👍
Business analyst > Consultant > Senior Consultant > Manager > Senior Manager > Director > Senior Director > VP. Same titles across Cognizant Business Consulting.
EY > Cognizant > IBM
DD1, even with how much of a dumpster fire IBM is these days I don't think its fair to slot them below Cognizant. IBM still has specific areas where they're well thought of - to pick a particularly salient example for you, their iX practice is well thought of
SC1, are you with Cognizant? How about their Digital Strategy practice?
I am with cognizant, yes. I’m in their BFS vertical but can connect you with some people in digital strategy
C1: what are the titles in your firm (bottom to top) ? Does it vary by practice?
Thanks SC1, isnt there associate director, AVP, SVP etc?
Also what is the equivalent title / comp / benefits at Cognizant?
What does Engagement Delivery Leader / Partner mean?
I’m not sure if there is an associate director level. There is an AVP > VP > SVP. I’m not sure I’ve ever heard of an Engagement Delivery Leader in my team and we we consider Director+ to be partner level
Thanks SC1
Cognizant, whats some of the benefits ( i mean cognizant US) such as healthcare 401k leaves etc?
401k is 50% match, but employee contribution is limited to something like 5500 a year. There is also a employee stock purchase plan - 10% off the stock quarterly. Everything else is pretty standard, health, visions, dental, etc. They just added 4 weeks paid paternal time off. SCs start with 10 data PTO and it goes up by level
Thanks SC1. Cant understand why the 5500 cap on 401k? Because of 50% match?
