Anyone from EYP…I’m applying to “Strategy & Transactions Working Capital Consultant/Senior”. I have the experience, six sigma, PMP etc stated in the description. How can I proactively position myself to earn the interview? I’m afraid I might get auto rejected because I have way more than 2 years experience, but I know industry experience is weighted different. Appreciate any help, insight, or anyone willing to chat. $3500 for a 1 bedroom is absolute insanity
My boyfriend pays $2900 for a one bedroom in SF. Granted it's in a awesome neighborhood and not one of those new high rises they have now.
Some have said that COL is higher in SF, factoring in groceries, gas vs subway costs, and other non-rent expenses.
Disagree. Maybe higher than nyc overall but not higher than manhattan
Just get apartment-mates. Keeps you social and costs down. I live in a great 3 bedroom spot with all the amenities and pay less than $1600
They’re happy and living a good life, making bank and saving for their futures. No reason to impose your pre-conceived notions of adulthood on them.
Agreed. If you want to pay under $2500/bedroom, live with roommates. Or look in Oakland or the Peninsula. Also be prepared to pay much more for eating out. I recently moved to SF from the East Coast and it’s very annoying- you can get cheap food or expensive food, but mid-range restaurants are hard to find.
Lots of mid range restaurants in Chinatown, etc. SF has more restaurants per capita than anywhere else in the world.
Thanks A3. Didn’t realize I was complaining!
