What do you think the offer breakdown is for Sr Product Manager role at Intuit? $300k Total Comp feasible? Heading into final round, want to be prepared in case they put out an offer. Seeing a lot of variety on Glassdoor/Levels.fyi/etc. 9 YOE, M7 MBA, Consulting Manager with 3 yrs of Product exp.
I have an initial recruiter phone interview with Square Thursday. Is it it just a phone call or is it a video call and they didn’t specify. If it’s a video call what’s the dress code like? I’m coming from consulting so all my interviews were in suits. Any tips to get past the recruiter phone screen?

Not unrealistic at all but it is an above average exit. Just make sure you’re above average
Yes you’re insane in this economy.

I don’t think it’s unrealistic for HCOL if you’re coming from 5 years at a reputable consulting firm.

Not unrealistic at all!
No, but unlikely. You’re aiming too high in this market. 140-145 should be your target unless you’re in HCOL.
I’ll be straight with you, we are barely hiring in my area
Not unrealistic at all
I have 5yoe and I am interviewing for a role with 250 base. Consulting > PM. Current base is 180.
New grad pms make 200 at most companies, no inflation there. There are many series a-c companies that pay above market base because they literally cannot attract talent unless they pay that amount. And especially so if what they want is in high demand (ai/k8s/databases)
I exited at 165 base with 5 YOE
Can I dm you please
You can easily hit 170 base (LCOL/MCOL) in FAANG.
I have 5 years of big4 experience and exited just before I made manager
170 (max base for amazon)
Not unrealistic but dependent on role. Which roles are you looking at? I know PM with 5 YOE making $380,000 TC but that’s FAANG level
Good insight thank you
Did you hit the manager level in consulting?
Do you have experience that would align with big tech / finance / banking / pharma companies?
Without manager level it will be a bit tougher but I can imagine some senior analyst roles in those industries would base at 150.
I had 3 YOE at BCG and had probably 20 reach-outs for base pay at 120-150 (while making 175 base at BCG) and only 5 or 6 that matched or exceeded my existing base. Ended up finding one that based 230 and that’s what I left for.
Sometimes it’s just a numbers game, lots of bad opportunities to sort though
I'm at 2 YOE making $130k in LCOL. Still in consulting
Base
2 yoe and getting offers for 135k base so I’d say yes reasonable
Not unrealistic
150-160 is about market rate for 5 yoe MC/TC consulting in HCOL. The years of sales exp might be discounting that if they don’t count it as relevant experience to consulting/tech etc
155 base LCOL with 3 YOE. So should be possible for you
Do you mind sharing where you work please? & how the negotiations worked?
Possible but would not be an average exit. Base salaries just don't go up a lot.
Shoot me a dm op. Lmk your background and what you’re looking for in more detail maybe can refer to EY or EYP
Not unrealistic. I am at 200K base at 6yoe
Wow - where do you work?
Not at all - got 130k base at 2 YOE at Accenture lol
