What’s the deal with creatives hiding their Apple work? I get maybe newish stuff but like, just show your work you did for the iPhone 13.

My work product is becoming worse and partners are noticing/commenting. I just hate the practice area so much that every time I am asked to do something I just get it done as quickly as possible and can’t be bothered to put in effort. I think I need to quit so I’m not fired for bad performance with a horrible reputation. Am I nuts and should I just wait til they let me go?

How important was your portfolio to land your first UXR job? There are mixed messages out there...

I know this isn’t a marriage therapy bowl, but my husband has a really terrible tendency of saying things like “you’re being really mean” and completely shutting down during a disagreement when i objectively am not being mean, just truthful or vocal about how i feel about something. It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️
