Hi All, What are the chances of an offer getting on hold at HCL after the compensation plan was shared? I was intimated by the director during an interview that he informed the HR to roll out me the offer. It's been 3+ weeks now since I have received the compensation plan and no response from the HR even if I call as well.

Pe Ops is front office it’s just not investment team
I’m not sure what the comment before you meant. But front office is client facing. Investment / deal team at PE is the group evaluating and executing deals. Value creation is the group that works with the portfolio companies to excite the value creation initiatives identified by the PE fund and executives.
But it’s likely to be a case that’s focused on growth strategy / operations rather than an LBO modeling case. Then a bunch of fit interviews with people at the fund
I’ve been on the deal team and am currently on the ops side. The deal team process is a standard case study - you’re given a CIM and have the weekend to create a 3 statement LBO model and prepare a presentation outlining growth drivers, risks, merits and valuation. And you gotta present it
The Ops case study was more business analysis - I was provided lots of data for a company (invoice data, sales order history, PO history, item master list), and had to put some charts together and recommend a strategy plan.
I had far more fun doing the ops study, but both were interesting just different
