I am not sure what your definition of a pauper is? Hopefully you guys have already saved something for college. When I got divorced, I agreed to pay double the required amount for child support and 100% of college. While economically unfair, I couldn’t be happier. Focus on the future and look at the bright side.

If you were still married wouldn’t you be paying for school anyway? Don’t understand what impact your divorce has on the children you are already financially supporting.
How much you paying in alimony tho and for how long?
I have two kids in school (both out of state) and it’s expensive. My husband and I have really really cut back on eating out and slowed down on extra frivolous spending. You can do it.
