Is it a bad idea to only get jobs through temp agencies? I just feel like they’re not keeping me bc I’m too expensive but telling me it’s my performance.

Am I crazy? I’m considering turning down an offer 3x my current comp in a city I love. I even like the company culture better at the new firm. Downside is the day to day work as they’re different industries. I really can’t see myself doing the work at the new firm long term. I get work is work but this especially leaves me unfulfilled. But feel bad turning down something that on paper seems like a no brainer. Any fishies here have advice/gone thru similar experience? Did you regret it?

My LWD in Wipro (my previous employer) was on 21 Aug, 2021. I was waiting to receive my outstanding due and experience certificate, as part of F&F, ever since. However, I received an email from the offboarding team today stating that my Final Settlement is on on hold due to security concerns (DLP: data leakage). How is this going to play out? And much longer will it take before my F&F process is completed and I get my outstanding due and my experience certificate? Pls advice.

I am in my second year as a attorney, I was a FL paralegal before law school and would eventually like to end up there again. I am in a very small rural area, pretty much only solos, and no FL solos appear to be hiring/expanding at this time.

Do you think experience as a DA or PD would be valuable, with my eye toward a future in FL? Both for the skills gained, and/or as a resume piece?

Will Deloitte india revise offer based on the current offer?

I got offer from Deloitte for around 14.5 (fixed + variable) for 4 years of experience in SAP.

But now i have better offer for around 17 LPA.

Is it a good decision to ask Deloitte india for a revision?

Vets using Tricare with a family. I’m out and can use Tricare with the VA, but my wife and I each use our company offerings for our family; which obviously come at cost. Is it worth it to switch to Tricare? Has anyone done this and can share details? Positives/negatives?

Perspective. I’m retiring from the service and I’ve positioned myself decently to be competitive. I have a graduate degree pursuing a doctorate, LSSBB, ScrumMaster, SPHR, and PMI-ACP. Feel like I've been going full bore for the past decade and literally have no problem continuing the trend. Like I could just keep marking milestones and grinding or whatever until I die.

Wondering when if anyone else felt similar and decided to pull back and do something more relaxing. What was the catalyst, what are you doing, and are you enjoying it?

I'd considered taking up a 9-5 somewhere but not sure if thatd wear off fast.
