Massages, long walks at the beach, desert mineral water soaks, floating, binaural beat music, daily breath-work. Journaling, reiki, sound bath therapy. positive affirmation meditations. Hope this helps : ) keeps me grounded.
Have you heard about fit snacks? Literally 10 minutes here, then there throughout the day. You can do the same thing with self care like meditation, stretching, listening to soothing music, even a quick walk or staring out a window.
I love to read books. The minute I'm in a quiet room, comfortable under a blanket and reading a book, I know my mind and soul are at rest. It's the most inexpensive self care that's been working on me for decades now.
Love this^
Coach
Put myself first for a change.
Start by listing all activities that actually do relax you.For eg TV is not relaxing to me. My list: journaling(when I’m very angry/frustrated), meditation (even 10 mins after I pull in to the parking lot), mid day walk, evening skin care (add a face mask), 10 min yoga (Sarah Beth on YouTube) , morning makeup routine (do something extra), treat myself to good coffee and a scone at work, sometimes talking with a like-minded coworker. Depending on my day, how stressed I feel, I fit two or more things to my day. If I couldn’t fit any of these, I cave and drink 4oz of white wine - helps me sleep.
