What’s the process / tracking around working from home to not be flagged on a productivity report? Specific quota that needs to be reached?

I have been seeing all of these "studies" saying that many people prefer working in the office versus working from home... I'm doubting these results and want to conduct my own little poll.
Do you prefer:
A) Working from Home
B) Working from the Office
C) Hybrid

I'm reading this book on boundaries. In the work section it says I should tell my boss that I can't work after 5 PM. Knowing that advertising work commonly goes past 5 PM...would my job be in danger if I said that?

Have been at Morgan for 1 year and looking to come over to JPM for an ideal pay bump, but would like to get into IB type roll. Any insight on what I should expect or how to go about applying?
