I am mainly working with shops in the States as a non-native speaker and I am constantly worried about my ability to communicate (in any professional occasion but mostly in meetings). I am working with some of the best shops and this makes the situation worse considering that I am largely surrounded by an extremely competent group of folks that are super good at any form of communication. My whole family is full of extroverts. I'm the only odd one out, an introvert.
Whenever any relative or anyone visits us, they talk, laugh around etc. And I just sit there with my phone, scrolling any random app to let that time pass. People always comment on my nature that I'm so silent, I speak very less etc. They know it's my nature but they still make it a point to call it out. I don't have any reply to this, I just give a smile, that's it.
Don't know what to do.
