I got a remote L6 SWE offer at Google but the RSUs are too low for that level ($625k over 4 years), could not negotiate it higher. I’ve accepted the offer but trying to be hopeful that I could make it more equitable in the future if I perform well. Are stock refreshers based on the initial RSU grant or solely based on performance? Google

You're missing out. Doing good work early in your career will pay huge dividends later. Being remote might be convenient now, but I don't believe its a benefit to your creative career where you need mentors and to be creatively influenced. Assuming you want to do great work. That's just me, and I'm old.
Alternatively, consider what this current job affords you: hobbies? A creative life outside of work? An identity not tied to your job? All of these can also build yourself career in surprising ways. It just depends on what’s important to you.

UNLESS!
You have a passion you care more about and plan to, hopefully, one day make your primary career. They you can devote the extra time and energy.
I agree with everyone else, if doing good work in advertising is what you want. But be aware that you can get to the “top of the mountain” and the industry will still throw you out like an empty can of Mountain Dew.
If it's early in your career you are 100% missing out. Doing great work is so incredibly valuable if you want a long career (and a long career you are proud of).
Great work is where you make your great industry friends and contacts.
Always pick great work if you can.

When you get a job and land at an agency, always think about the next one. Is the place you’re at going to help you get to where you want to go, or is it going to hinder you? This is especially important at the first half of your career. Once you’ve older with more experience and different priorities, you’ll want to focus on different things. But good work will help you get good work later and that’s how you stay employed. Once you’ve older have enough of that, then you can prioritize other things. But this is a very personal decision. Don’t let us make it for you.
