I just say that I find myself to be most productive when I'm at home so I can get in the zone and focus on my work without a bunch of distractions. I don't really know what the "right answer" is but that's my honest answer.
Sounds good to me and exactly what I would say. I truly feel that way. No, need to lie about that part or make it sound more than it is. I noticed people walking around and wanting to chitchat in the office is very distracting and I’m way more productive and an at home work environment. This allows me to engage during meetings and appropriate times and focus on my projects when needed some BS like that is what I would say, but I’m nobody, but I did used to interview people so.
I would frame it in terms of health. True story: my mental health requires that I exercise outdoors every morning, not to mention the benefits to my physical health. No way I could take a run, get cleaned up, and commute to an office in a timely manner year round. Some days the sun doesn't even come up until 7:30am.
But then you’re flagged or labeled. I would say FMLA if needed and don’t explain shit to anybody. You don’t have to, nor is it their right to continue to prompt you thanks HIPAA.
I probably wouldn't say that. You could say that you work well in a remote environment without the distractions of the office. You could also bring up that it creates better work life balance.
