When to give my notice? In bit of a pickle here... new jobs starts 4/1, but I also have vacation 3/18-22. Company has unlimited pto policy, so I'm afraid if I give them notice before vacation they will just let me go before my time off. Lay offs are this summer, so I'm getting a head start, don't plan on coming back to the company. Give a week after my time off?

Hello, currently I am on notice period, last month I have worked on saturday and applied for compensatory off in BMS tool, and in workday I had applied as Casual time off as my manager told m to do so. now I am getting leave type mismatch email , and manager is saying you can ignore that email. So my question is did it impact in my Full and final settlement or final letter? I @m confused now. Please help

How long do ppl in the US generally take leaves in December for vacation?
Only last couple of weeks or the entire month?

For those that work at big4, does maternity leave benefit only kick in if you’ve worked for the firm for at least a year? Or does it apply immediately?

I regret choosing Deloitte India over USI, salary is same but i liked the clarity of my leadership team, which is still the same they are awesome, but USI people are getting many benefits, on time Hikes and appraisals, but i don't get all of those, which is kinda depressing.

I had to rescind my acceptance to an offer at EY back in April because I had a medical issue present for a surgery and I didn’t want to complicate things with time off and changes in insurance and such since it was a scary process in and of itself. I’m healing faster than expected now though, and EY said to reach out if things change but that’s probably standard language. Is it likely that I could get them to re-send an offer? I still see postings for the role online.

A friend of mine works with TCS as an Analyst, his base location is Bengaluru but he is been working from his hometown in Lucknow since the first COVID lockdown. Working at hybrid model of IT company and PSU company. My employer IT company lost bid and now the contract is of another company. We have been asked that contract over as on 31.7.2022 and we are supposed to go and sit at company office. It's a loss of pay for 100 people on project. Our company said we can't join new bidder company because we signed agreement on offer letter that we won't be joining client for atleast a year. It's inconvenient and crazy for us.
