Hello All, I have been selected in the interview at NTT DATA and also submitted documents as requested by Recruiting HR. However , it's been a 10 days after docs submission but haven't received any call from HR for salary negotiation. On email follow up with HR, he said he is on it and will come back to me soon for further process. Any views.NTT DATA

For sure. Why not? Free hotel room. As long as they understand you are there for work and that is the priority. Skipping client dinners or agency dinners to hang with your partner is definitely not cool. And bringing them to said dinners is also not cool.
This sums it up perfectly.
I’ve had former employees and colleagues do this, and it was more than occasionally awkward. Anything can and does arise on a production, and having their partners disappointed because their sightseeing plans fall apart unexpectedly, or there’s no logistical or logical room for them at a client dinner, or now two tickets and travel arrangements have to be adjusted when a shoot date pushes due to weather, etc., is added complexity.
yes but they don’t come to my shoots or team dinner or anything. paid for their own flight and food expenses. but they do get free hotel by staying with me. that’s all.
If I’m on production for a while and have a free weekend I’ve flown my partner out, but I’d never actually bring them TO a production. Wouldn’t feel professional. But hey, if they’ve got the time and money to visit why not?
Yup! Easy to attach plans after production wraps and grant yourself a mini-vacation.
Yes, when I’ve had a “down” weekend during prep, and I’ve had bosses and co-workers who have done the same. Would just echo the above as long as they know you’ve got work to do if it pops up, and you’re not bringing them to client or agency meals, it’s not a big deal.

My wife is a creative too and one time I joined her in LA for a shoot. I paid my plane ticket and stayed in her room at the Beverly Hills Ritz Carlton (not as swank as I expected, tbh). Did it in Portland once too.

Yes.
Nope.
One time I did. We went out a week early for a mini vacation and met up my team a day before work was scheduled to start. I told the team in advance and we treated the work day like a regular work day- we went our separate ways in the morning and would meet for dinner.
Dumb idea. Being away from your partner is a sign of maturity

My ex-wife forced me to do this a few times. She was incredibly jealous. And she was an absolute nightmare around female coworkers. Like just narrowly avoiding physical assault. I still have PTSD.
