A. Because it’s the greatest city in the world and it’s not even close.
NY way better than London, I mean I'm a big fan of NY but you've got to be joking. London is a whole new level. Food is better in NY though 🙂
San Diego hands down. Best vibes, best weather, best views, best activities and best people. Lowest COL of the 3. I've had 6 friends move there from around around country and all of them are now the happiest I've ever seen them. I've lived in both of the other two and can't think of worse places to have to pay so much to live in.
I live in bed stuy. But to answer Huron - 5k is quite a lot for brooklyn. You can find 2 bedrooms for way less in almost every neighborhood in Brooklyn and queens and the Bronx. Excluding the really expensive neighborhoods like Williamsburg, Brooklyn heights, Fort Greene, park slope etc. My friend lives in a new building 1 bedroom in Manhattan and pays 5k. Not saying you can't pay that much in one of the new Brooklyn buildings but almost all the neighborhoods are cheaper than that.
OP I'm ready for that sunshine. I'm in my 30s so I care less about nightlife and more about space, sun and nature.
None of these. They don't align with my political beliefs or stance on guns, though I've heard San Diego tends to be more conservative. 😂 But if I had to choose, I would probably say San Diego. Nice weather, not as big of a city but still plenty going on. Military base nearby. Decent food options, beautiful beaches, easier for international trips over the Pacific than East Coast. Of course with New York you have cheap flights everywhere and can easily get over to Europe! New York is just too crazy for me. Maybe if I lived somewhere outside of Manhattan I would like it more!
EY6 that’s freedom

NY
NYC
LA baby
The only reason to live in LA/SD is for the weather. Lived in NYC (born and raised) and LA. NYC wins, I’m not even biased. I want to gtfo of NYC to a medium sized city in the Midwest. I hate NYC, I like LA but from an objective standpoint, only weather wins in LA. NYC has way more life and nightlife is MUCH better
C3 you may want to look into AA.
Been to all three quite a bit but lived only in NY. Don’t like winters or the cost but as a city love NY
Trick question? NYC is the obvious winner. Of course, it’s not a good recipe for saving/early retirement, but if you want to live your life to the fullest and experience the best art, most diverse culture, and most self aware populace that’s where you want to be. Speaking as a 14 years nyc veteran who is looking to leave for financial reasons, but will always believe nyc is the top choice, ignoring finances
San Diego. Best weather.
Property on Del Mar beach 👍
New York. Most to do, similar cost of living, don’t need a car, and there’s no place like it.
Maybe New York.
Definitely not CA.
New York, then San Diego, then
Already in NYC
D. Chicago
+1
Used to live in NY, now in Miami. Miami is the best.
Miami seems to be slightly cheaper but you are saving significantly with state income tax.
Brooklyn, not NYC
Ey4 = transplant
Easy : San Diego
I don’t understand how Detroit didn’t make the list?
That’s my #1. Am I alone?
I know people happy there. Seems cheap which is good!
San Diego
C - weather, beach, cool vibes
B - traffic and pollution sucks
A - shit weather, shit $$$, shit people
