Which makes your job more difficult: working with incompetent coworkers or working for a useless manager?

Definitely a useless manager. Because, ultimately, a manager is a gatekeeper to things like career progression and increased pay. Bad coworkers are just kind of a nuisance.

This is the answer. At least for me.

Well, I guess it is lucky for me that I don't have to choose. I'm currently working with both.

I'm on team that provides assistance to adjusters who are on time off, so 100% incompetent coworkers

I think it depends on what you need from each. My work is pretty independent but I definitely need a competent boss to be happy. If other people don't do their work that's on them and the manager.

Hi All,
I had my 1st round of interview with Executive Director and 2 leads for Technical role. I have 2 queries-
1. How many rounds should i expect in total considering I clear everything? (I think my first round itself has technical + manger/director)
2. How long (time) will it take to get an offer?
TIA :)

Hi all,

I worked in PwC for 1.5 years and the moved to Oracle on last July with 50% hike(CCTC is 14.5LPA). I was hired for Application Developer 2 but often I’m getting QA work and I don’t like this job. So looking for a change.

If I leave Oracle before 12 months I should repay the amount I used for relocation purposes. ( I used around 3L )

I was interviewed in Aruba Networks ( a HPE subsidiary ). If I clear the interview, how much CTC I can expect ?
Total experience: ~2 years

Any women here with lean PCOS? I do not ovulate on my own (metformin regulated my periods but I still don’t ovulate) and am moving from three cycles of Clomid/IUI to IVF soon. No other issues have been found other than my PCOS (HSG shows tubes open). Curious about your experiences. And the reason I mentioned lean PCOS is because it seems for others with PCOS part of the fertility path is diet/exercise/weight loss but I am already very tiny.

I found a company I was really excited about working at. I applied for the job and went through 5 rounds of interviews. At the end they said I was OVER qualified and they want me for a different position higher up in the company. I was super excited they then had me go through 5 more rounds, 3/5 people were the same. The interviews mostly went "didn't you get the job, I highly recommend you? I'll just put you down as a 10". After those were done they told me I was UNDER qualified. Can't win!
