Hi everyone Google ,
I am facing interview trouble.
1. First round of interview has done
2. 2nd was scheduled on 1 july but interviewer did not join. After a few mails to hr and recruitment team one hr replied that they will reschedule it, and asked me for possible dates.
Since then i am waiting for the interview schedule as all of my given dates have been passed. I don't know how to deal with it as I don't want to miss the opportunity.

Seattle is very friendly.
I’ve lived in 2 of the 3 and have also spent extensive time in the PNW. All are big cities and are very friendly. I’d focus more on the lifestyle you want.
Competitiveness: Boston >> Seattle > Dallas
Outdoors: Seattle > Boston >>>>> Dallas
Walkability: Boston >> Seattle >> Dallas
Weather: depends on personal preference
Cost of living: Boston > Seattle >> Dallas
Dallas: top heavy; very purple politically (fine to be on either side); a truly ugly city; cheap, fast flights to anywhere; incredibly easy winters; very diverse
Boston: lots of tourists and students; a little pretentious socially; incredibly well educated people; not very diverse as a non-student; incredibly walkable and NYC is close
Seattle: outdoorsy to the extreme but has some of the most beautiful nature in the country; people are fairly reserved; not very diverse

People in Boston are nice!
Honestly, any big city. I'm in Houston and all the Texas offices are friendly

Actively trying before the 2024 election…
Competitive offices also have higher hiring targets, sometimes it’s a hit and miss trying to target a ‘not so competitive’ office.
I’d say all the offices in these firms will be gay-friendly. The difference is the size of LGBT community in local office.
Dallas is more gay friendly than Boston by any standard

Southie is very catholic and blue collar. Have you been to Boston in the past 40 years?

You should assume Boston is quite competitive given the premiere local colleges and business schools.
I'd think Seattle is more gay friendly due to the history of being relatively progressive at the state and local level versus just local level like in Texas.
Honestly Dallas has a ton of fun gay bars
For ours it’s Toronto. Head of our lgbt+ affinity network is also in the Toronto office
True. But really great presence in all our NA offices, including MX.
Nyc is our main office
I’m jointing Kearney’s NYC office in a month and can’t wait to share the gay!!
You don’t recruit by office for Kearney. If you get an offer you just pick an office. You can also change offices as often as you like

Boston is going to be significantly more competitive than Seattle/Dallas. Some people like working at HQs and both BCG and Bain HQs are in Boston.
Have you considered Chicago or Philly?
Rising Star
Boston has Sloan and HBS, but you considered it. So Philly should be on the list if that was your only qualm.
Happy to chat about our Boston office - very welcoming environment
