Which one should I pick - big four or prestigious investment company? Hi guys I’m currently making a change in my career and I have gotten an offer from big four and accepted it. It’s specialized in one sector. I had communicated the offer deadline with all the companies I interviewed for . Two weeks after I had accepted such said offer, one of the companies I interviewed for called me and said they would like to extend an offer to me as well.

I am attempting to get a promotion for a top retailer in the US. My boss has been begging me for months to take the shift and I have refused simply because it is fully overnight. From what I have heard, you have to have managerial experience in order to be considered for the manager position for that shift but we are going on 3 months without anyone being hired. What can I say in interview that will highlight why I deserve a management position

My total experience is 5 in QA, I attended Deloitte interview. First round was technical and it went quite well, they asked lot of theory questions. I answered few and quite I was not sure of answers. She gave feedback like my communication and confidence level is good and project wise I'm having good knowledge and coming to concept wise it's not upto the mark for experience. So my query is will they call me for next round?I really wanna get selected since Deloitte is mydream company

Do you all see a compelling future in your tax career? I’ll go first, I don’t see a compelling future working for a large PA firm in the long run because you have to work more as you move up. However, I do see a compelling future by using my knowledge and skills to open my own firm/business and work less hours as long as I make enough money which is $75k, or if I do work long hours, it’s because I want to.

Case load= malpractice? Small plaintiff’s firm of 25 attorneys. I was a 2 year associate hired and given 50 active files in pre litigation status. 9 mos later a partner quit and I inherited 45 more. I got up to 105 files. Now I hover at 85 active files in varying stages of pre lit. I asked managing partner for help and was told to settle more claims to lessen my load. Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.
