Hello there, I will be starting a masters in global management with a focus in trade and investment. I’m located in the southwest, and I’m looking to enter something centered around US-Latin American trade/development. I am looking for an internship. I have applied at the world bank, haapag lloyd, international trade administration, and the US-Mexico Chamber of Commerce. Any ideas or tips?
Any Product roles that have travel potential? I love my role as a PM, but miss the travel that I had in consulting. Are there any firms that have regular (monthly or quarterly) travel?
Shall we start curating a list of comp/bonus?
Saw the main bowl which has this list but few data points for Europe & UK.
Would be good to know what the pay is currently due to the hot market & new joiners with great comp?
Anyone have any leads for a financial analyst/real estate advisory role at any of the Big 4’s? I have seven years experience and am located in the southwest.
Best credit card with no international fees??
Does anyone have the Wells Fargo propel credit card? Is it worthwhile? The straightforward points structure is pretty enticing, as is 3x on gas, dining, streaming, and travel.
What are some easy to make, low stress holiday meals for a school holiday staff party? I was "volunteered" by our principal to set it up this year (🙄). I'm making decorated sugar cookies but kind of drawing a blank when it comes to savory dishes. Bonus points if you have any adult holiday themed games or fun drinks to suggest! It's off school property and there will be a bar (thank god), for context.
I'm getting a MAcc to career change to forensic accounting. What opportunities are available to me with a data analytics heavy MAcc? I'm also tacking on 2 graduate certificates in Applied Statistics and International Economic Policy? For those in the field, would that be useful or not useful (i.e. waste of time)? I'm interested in investigations but also analytics, financial modeling, and expert witness services. Throw in salary potential for bonus points. I'll be getting my CPA, CFE, and CAMS.

Hey y’all! I have a week between jobs and am wanting to treat myself to a spa / pool day. Anyone been to the spa at the St. Regis or Four Seasons, or have another recommendation?
Going through a tough pregnancy and told my practice leadership at the beginning of my pregnancy that I want to reduce my hours and work on internal initiatives to remove the stress of client pressure and deadlines. I have recommendation from doctor to not travel and reduce my workload which HR signed off on. However I keep getting asked by my practice leaders if I want to be on billable client projects, and when I reiterate my boundaries I was met with a reaction “but it’s billable” …Contd
I have a managerial round(maybe the last round) tomorrow with Delta Air Lines. Can you let me know what package should I ask the hiring manager?
Experience: 6.6 years

To male 🐠 who wear suspenders with dress pants. Any suggestions on brands that stand up to travel and have suspender buttons already sewn in (Y-style suspenders)
Do folks have trusted/valuable resources for researching luxury family travel with young kids? I don’t care the cost, I want to know what is most convenient and nice for my family. Feel like generally most resources are geared to either a) families on a budget (I don’t care which hotel is best bang for buck w/mid breakfast) or b) couples / adults only travelers. Do folks just stick to true five star hotel concierges for help? Do folks just book luxury tours like A&K? How do folks research?
Email from Hilton Honors that they are extending your 2019 status through March of 2021. Your 2020 status through March of 2022.
Seems like I can never get good redemption rates with Bonvoy points and after a year haven’t been able to use much. Saw that you can sell 100k points on eBay for about $700 after fees...worth it?
I am a field marketer. I travel and cover 12 states. HQ is across the US on the east coast. My manager put a surprise calendar invite twice now to go to home office without consulting dates to see if we were available. I stood up and asked to be included on available dates and said I will attend virtually but asking me to be away for 4 additional full days away from my family without asking me is not OK. I already travel a lot and this boundary is super important to me. Am I right or wrong?
While at the Marriott, the bathroom roof started leaking ON me, while I was using the bathroom. No clue what kind of leak. They moved me to a new room, comped that night out of 5 nights. Enough? ..
I have a lot of Marriott Bonvoy points (7 figures) and my wife and I would like to travel somewhere for two weeks.
Assume for brainstorming that anywhere in the world there is a Marriott property is an option. Category 8 peak rates work too. Have fun with this. What are some destinations and hotel options?
Here we go! Steve Diamond here. CCO at Rain in Portland. I’m camped out at Life of Riley. A great bar located strategically a block from our office and two from W+K. Looking forward to the game/ads!
Fellow lady 🐠🐟🐡, do you have a certified financial planner you trust? I'm looking for one in the DC metro region and don't know where to start!
Curious to know your best arguments to justify high general damages when objective injuries/med specials are relatively small. I.e., clients with chronic pain, headaches, etc. who choose to just live with their new normal rather than get ongoing pain mgmt that only provides intermittent, temporary relief. I've read David Ball on Damages, but if you have any links to other great articles or resources, or just have thoughts of your own that work well, I'd appreciate your input! Thank you.
Have any of you attended or looked at Denver Ad School? What were your thoughts/experiences? Their books look good from what I can tell.
If all the top consulting firms made anonymous decks or gave anonymous pitches to a client, eg no branding and the client did not know which firm made which deck, do you actually think that the client would prefer MBB? Is MBB actually coming up with better/more innovative solutions? I feel like I see many repeat or slightly altered solutions on almost all of my cases, are these really things that people at Deloitte/Accenture etc aren’t coming up with?
Hey all, reached a fork in the road and am seeking advice. 2 YOE as SOC Analyst and had plans to move into IR in the near future. Been presented with an opportunity to help with greenfield security implementation.
Which path would you consider best for long term career growth?
I imagine the implementation side would lead me to security architecture in the future.
Don’t remain in an environment that will eventually drown you because of little insignificant perks that distract you from pursuing your own dreams.

I got a call from KPMG HR for the role of Associate consultant in research team, When she asked me about the expected ctc, I think I quoted less than the market standards but since I am underpaid currently so the amount I quoted was 40-45% hike on my fixed. I have experience of 2.9years
Can anybody please suggest if I clear their interviews will they consider increasing CTC from whatever I quoted becase upon searching for ACon roles they pay much higher than what I quoted.
Does anyone have experience transitioning from bedside nursing to Utilization Review? Most of the positions I’ve seen require previous UR work to even be considered. I tried talking to my current employer about cross trading and was told they won’t train anyone to those positions. TIA.
May someone please advise how I can transition from shift supervisor to a remote admin/executive assistant? I’ve been applying but keeps getting rejected. I have 5 years experience as an EA. Is it because I am still new to the company? Any answers would be appreciated. Thank you for your time. CVS Health
