Who here is freelancing while working full time?
I have a question, fellow bowlaz! I work in a small advertising agency in Oslo, Norway, and we struggle to get in contact with international ad media such as Adweek (Ad Freak) and Ad Age whenever we want to show off our creative work. Does anyone of you have a way in, or tips on how we can get in contact with media outlets like these? Cheers

Sony….Japanese clients that would nod along during the presentation like they were pleased and then proceed to send lengthy feedback around 3am asking to change it all.

Most clients. Most clients don’t know what to say. Before I got into advertising, I thought the process was the agency made and produced the ad they were confident with with zero client input. There was only a decrepit of what worked and what didn’t. Man advertising would be better without most of them.
I at least thought they’d treat us like experts who had good taste…seeing as they clearly aren’t either of those things. It’s a very weird business, more of a ‘dog and pony show’ than I ever thought it would be.
