Why auditing is more hated than tax though it opens doors to FDD/FP&A and a better route to become cfo and more focused on financials. Okay it requires more hours and worse WLB but other than that the perspectives that it offers is way better and you don’t get pigeonholed.

So after two weeks of waiting (and giving up on the idea of getting the job really), the recruiter got back to me.

They said due to month-end and quarter-end close they were busy and couldn’t get back to me as quickly for a “good update”.

The recruiter said the CFO enjoyed our call, she, the CFO, will call me next week directly to “discuss some final things”.

Not sure if Im hired or not, but are there any questions about the job, comp (cont.)
