Why do people come in sick when we’re only in the office 2x a week? I work in a cramped office for a small company, and people are constantly coughing and sneezing. It’s been extra brutal lately... I just caught my second cold in two months, and my coworker who sits next to me is also sick! Is this level of constant sickness normal for a small office?

Hello everyone. I am looking to transition into the medical writing field, but I don’t seem to have the right type of experience. I have technical writing experience, but I don’t have experience with clinical studies or clinical trials. Does anyone have any advice on how I can gain more experience in this field? I am pursuing the AMWA Essential Skills certificate and am working on a master degree, but any other information would be greatly appreciated!

Just completed my last shift in the ICU. I'm glad to be shifting back to the Maternatity ward. It was exhausting, and emotionally draining working with such sick patients. I know the work we did made a big difference, but I'm glad to go back to my favorite role!
