Because it took 2 years to realize how poorly trained new staff and seniors are now. Everyone says work quality is down at the lower levels and the new associates just do whatever they want. I’m all for 2 days a week
It’s not because of remote work that quality is down at the lower levels. It was a downward trend that happened before covid. Going back to office won’t fix it.
Because they have no choice against these companies. There are good companies still out there that support remote/hybrid work like PwC.
It was eventually going to happen. I like hybrid flexibility but understand a push towards going back. Things like training/learning and networking have greater value in person. Maintaining a 70/30 split would be nice.

Who is supporting it ? Haven’t seen more than a handful or post supporting it.
I've seen a lot of posts and also people from my company they all of a sudden change their minds
I can’t even stand the thought of people looking / oversight around me even though I am 100% dedicated & fully engrossed in my work all the time. Times have changed.
Elon just wanted people to volunteer to quit rather than have to pay severance due to layoffs 🤦🏻♀️
I don’t think my office even has the space for us to all come back. Many upper level directors and partners keep pushing for staff level/seniors to come in because it’s “better for their growth and getting the full experience “. We have some amazing seniors that do the best work and will not hesitate to promote them, so what exactly will forcing them into the office do besides have them put in their two week notice?
