It doesn’t feel like we’ll ever really return to “normal.” It kind of feels like this is the new normal. With all these layoffs happening, it’s hard not to feel anxious all the time.
Unfortunately, it harder to be financially resilient as companies are lowballing on every hiring, and cutting down on recruiting as well

This is, as they say, the new normal. I think it will continue to deteriorate until we return to a simpler life.
This is very unfortunate
It’s tough right now, and recovery will take time, but markets do shift and eventually opportunities rebound. Staying adaptable and building skills helps you navigate through the cycles.

The tech industry is never going to be the same. Maybe we will see some improvements in the future, or more opportunities for us to pivot to, but I think we have a lot of years of a worsening situation ahead of us before we see any changes in a positive direction.
Agreed, I don't think things will improve at least in the year of 2026 and 2027
