What's the salary range for a director at the Gilead Sciences foundation? There is a position perfect for me, but I don't want to throw my hat in the ring if starting salary isn't $180-190k. Also, any thoughts on the stability of their philanthropic commitment? There's talk of a recession; I don't want to go private to be cute a few months later.

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

What was your position before and level now at Amazon? Trying to gauge what types of roles/leveling I should I expect.
For me it’s about starting to gain specific domain expertise in an industry and building that experience earlier rather than later. Consulting has a certain stigma, especially in tech, so better to try to make then jump now since everyone is so desperate to hire. I know I don’t want do consulting forever (or even 5 years from now).

I guess I should narrow it down to exclude the tech exits that get posted frequently and are the “dream exit” for a lot on FB. The majority of consultants likely don’t exit to these roles (due to both ability and personal preference).
Outside of tech and IB —- are a lot of people exiting to corporate roles for $200k+ in non-HCOL areas??

You might want to ask your question by referring titles of exits. Sr Manager, Associate director, etc.
Of course it’s not equal across firms or industries, but people would be able to provide more info.
This being said, very possible for 200k+ in biotech/pharma.
Doable to leave for $200-225 all in, but growth trajectory is typically slower
Took a slight pay cut. If you consider the raises in MBB of the last 2-3 years, a significant pay cut. However it was more than worth it to me for the mental health benefits, and the fact I have a life and can spend time with my family now.
200k 60 hours/week vs. 150k 35 hours/week seems like lateral move. Your time is finite therefore you should treat is as money. Especially since everyone get 24 hours in a day.
I'm exiting for a slight paycut in TC but much better WLB (this is a smaller tech company)
Jon, what level did you exit to in the smaller tech firm?
I took approx a match (and much slower trajectory) for better wlb.
Was ready to take a cut
