There's been talk of education, but probably not enough. One unusual thing this year is that one of the VP candidates was a teacher for decades, and credits supervising the lunch room for years for the loss of his hair. Sounds credible to me! So teachers are represented. Because campaign messages tend to be targeted in this era, we may not see a lot of wide discussion of educational topics. But I assume if you visit the candidate web sites, as well as the Project 2025 site, you can read up on the various plans they have for the educational system.

You would think education would be the first and most important thing when it comes to these discussions, but outside of student loan debt, I haven’t heard much about education. Interested in figuring out how we start to advocate for ourselves and these kids, but overwhelmed at where to even start.
Yes it almost seems like everyone is admitting the public school system is broken beyond repair at this point.
