Worst company to work for in 2026: Omnicom Production.

Their recent merger with IPG signals exactly where things are headed: more outsourcing, less accountability, and the steady erosion of meaningful creative work. Clients see it too. They’re being charged premium rates for hollow, instant AI solutions—work that lacks heart, connection, and lasting value. Omnicom seems to have forgotten a fundamental truth: the best work is built on human relationships, not cost-cutting algorithms.

Coming from IPG, it's already a drastic difference at OP. My entire career has been about making work the best it can be. And now we're told our job as producers is to keep work in house and maximize profit if we want to keep our jobs.

like

It’s really gross how they all major holding companies have made producers sit outside of agencies and no longer be part of the core team. As for Omnicom, they stole vacation, holidays and 401K match from their employees so why would any employee really care to make them profitable or do their best work.

like

It's NOT a merger. It was an acquisition. OMG bought out IPG.

I would think the worst company to work for in 2026 is the federal government.

likefunnysmart

They keep outsourcing overseas. They have been (along with everyone else) for years. It shows

like

Same at Publicis. They started the trend and that leadership moved and failed up to Omnicom. WPP just late to the game. Off shoring and “near shoring” to Toronto.

like

Sounds familiar

like

I mean you could delete omnicom production and put any part of any holdco there.

Haven’t they been the worst to work for the last 20 years?

You’re nearly right, but it wasn’t a merger.

How is everyone dealing with the overpriced car prices? Been in the market for a while searching for a car between leasing a car from a dealership and buying used from FB. I’m fine with either option, especially since it’s going to be my first car, but not for $6k above MSRP. Worst part is, dealers are sitting around and have got nasty at my sister and I when they’ve been trying to milk us.

Is this even legal? Any alternatives options are appreciated

It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️
