AWS Developer -Deloitte USI - 15fixed + 0-10% Variable + 4LJB (retention bonus) 2. Sr security Analyst - AWS IAM - Sony India software centre - 17.5fixed + 3L Variable. Im very much interested in AWS Developer role but scared of WLB at Deloitte. Sony have a very good reviews and pay also better only concern here it is cloud security and limited to only AWS IAM.

I want to switch role as an AWS developer. But I have just learnt the things on my own in AWS. In interview I am asked questions based on real scenarios on which I am not having any experience. Any suggestions? Even if I do hands on on services like Linux academy or quiklabs, it would not help. (AWS cloud migration experience one can get if worked on a real project). Please help.

Why do people work in ad agencies when brand side roles pay more and ask for less hours? Is it a prestige thing? I’m not trying to be flippant, genuinely curious. I just keep hearing horror stories of agency people working 60+ hour weeks regularly. No one in my family or peer groups work in the industry so I have no idea of what other people think of the reputation of these kind of companies.

A lot of this stems from watching my parents & their toxic fights. I want to change not only for myself but for him, because I believe he is worth changing for.
