Coach
Really free? Or free enough to wield you in and then slap the price on it for you to complete it? Me personally no. I have enough experience. I also know a few past coworkers who I’m making the same salary as they are. I think it’s personal. I also want to go more into creative operations & marketing.
Coach
Yes, I got called for one thank god it didn’t ask. I think because it’s more creative operations & resourcing at the Directors level. I guess I have enough experience in that area. Landing the role is another thing. I definitely invested in a leadership coach for my interview.
Yes. Because, why not? It's a credential that some employers really like. You hadn't nothing to lose if it's completely free. Keep in mind it'll require 60 hours of continuing education each year to keep, though for some of which you can count hours worked.
It's 60. And I should have said each renewal period, not year.
Probably. During down time freelancing or during the COVID lockdown, this would probably have made the rotation of professional development if it were fully free.
As it stands, I have plenty of experience without it, getting it would just make me a little more competitive for more diverse industries.
That my employer funded it entirely (prep course, exam, certification renewal) is literally the only reason I did it.
Do you still have to do a detailed documentation of your 4,500 hours of experience?
