After uploading documents in Bosch First Services one week ago, there was no update from them, when I replied to them via mail - They said we will get back to you.Is this sign of getting compensation breakup or they looking for other candidates.I have offer from CGI and only 3 days is remaining to accept. What should I do in this case?As CGI has said if you don't join after accepting offer we will blacklist you.

Let’s be honest. Regret is a hell of a feeling. As someone working in MBB through sheer luck (only applied to one consulting firm without a desire to ever do consulting), I think FAANG is the best opportunity. If you come to MBB and stay to senior partner (not something you should bank on), you’ll be making way more money here. Otherwise FAANG is for sure the play. However, FAANG will be there in 2-3 years and the MBB alumni network can go a long way. Follow your dream, take MBB, enjoy being here and the lifestyle it offers until you no longer enjoy it. Then move on happily :)
There are many different roles at FAANG- would it be a role you actually enjoy? Are good at? Could grow from? Better comp today is great but what is the path from there? If you don’t have answers to those questions then MBB might serve you better, since it generally will at least help you grow.

I can’t tell if this is real or satire?
OP is either very clever or incredibly naive. Lol
Haha, I wish. I know what I should be doing, but I want to make sure if there is an upside to MBB.
The question is, which position is better aligned with your long-term career objectives? Also, jobs at Meta and MS do not appear to be very secure right now.
But in general why take a pay cut unless total comp would go up.
I’m actually considering pivoting from a FAANG to MBB right now. I feel like I will have to work hard af to climb the ladder in industry whereas I can take the industry experience I already have, go to MBB and try to grind to AP or partner, then exit back to industry experience now having both extensive industry experience and consulting. Idk. Maybe this is a dumb idea. It’s just so hard to move up once you get to industry.

It’s a trap. They rope you in with false promises and your left picking up the pieces after. Only reason I did MBB was that it gave me a 3x pay raise AND I really wanted to be consultant for the rest of my career.
If you are not clear on your end goal don’t move to MBB. Pay cut matters and how do you compete with others at MBB also matters?
Pro
If you are not graduating or moving from a less prestigious consulting firm MBB is not the obviously great career move many people think it is.
MBB can be great if you don’t have fundamental business skills or a brand name on your resume. But keep in mind that working there is a pressure cooker. The reason promotions can come so quickly is because a huge chunk of the workforce leaves or is forced out every year.
Up or out never ends at MBB even for partners. If you don’t produce you are out and often this is due to factors that are out of your control.
Also keep in mind that there are significant diminishing returns to years you work there it’s not like someone with 5 YOE is seeing vastly different exit ops over someone with 2 YOE at MBB.
Sounds all great… or horrible
