Xfinity has had 3 outages this week in my area during working hours and now once on the weekend. This week has been the worst, but it has been bad now for 2-3 months. Thinking of switching to Verizon but Fios isn’t available in my area, only “high speed internet”. Does anyone else use this service, and is it good enough to get the job done? Or would I be better off sticking with Comcast and just hot spotting a couple hours a week when I need to?

I work remote from the west coast and I love it. I rarely travel for work but next week I’ll be in our NY office. I’m actually excited to wear work clothes again for 1 week 😂

I have an urgent situation that I need advice for: what job to take? I currently have 2 job offers. Offer A (Scientist 3): 70k with full benefits including 15 PTO days and 5k tuition assistance yearly. It was sent to me last Wednesday and yesterday they left me a voicemail asking for a decision at my earliest convenience. Offer B (Manager): 76k with full benefits minus tuition assistance and only 5 PTO days first year (15 days after). Both companies said they'd groom me to take management roles.

I applied to a job at KPMG and did the first two rounds of interviews, general interview, then case study and competency. Never before have I had such a positive feedback at the end of an interview of the 2nd, both said really like me, I did well etc.
It's now been 3 weeks since the interview and I still haven't heard back from the team other than the odd HR email saying they are following up with them. Is there something going on internally, I.e hiring freeze in the London office atm?

Jump ship or stick it out? I’m a 31 y/o SFA with a Fortune 100 and am learning absolutely nothing. I have 9 years FP&A experience. All we get is busywork and no real opportunity to grow or take a more challenging role since they’re dying for SFAs. Do I stick it out for an eventual Manager role so I can be more marketable to a future employer, or try to pivot out of Finance to a new type of role and company now? Interested in more operations related work.
