Is westjet better than air canada now in terms of delays, crazy lines, etc? Going to london in a couple months and wondering which airline i should go with

Been using the Delta Platinum Amex for a years. I travel for work, but not often enough to justify the Delta Reserve. Right now, my wife has the same card, but it’s on my account. Almost every purchase we make is on the card, so we take a few flights with miles and the companion pass each year. Thinking about splitting our accounts just to get another Delta Platinum, get a big mile bonus, and then we’ll have two companion passes between the two of us each year. Anyone done this? Alternatives?

Would you pay $500 extra to upgrade your international economy flight to premium economy? American Airlines if that makes a difference.

Just used a meaningful amount of AMEX points for the first time to buy flights to Greece for my wife and I. Emirates business class both ways for 2 people, 290k pts total or 145k each way for 2 tickets. Plus another 30k to get us round trip domestic connecting flights bringing the total to 320 points. This is on the 777 which isn’t the best business class product out there, but I’ve never flown international outside of coach and think it will still be worthwhile. Think this is an OK redemption?

Does anyone have thought how to go about maximizing status with oneworld vs star alliance? I would like to understand if there is anything I need to do as a consumer to use one (or a combination of both) most effectively.

Do we typically get upgraded on Lufthansa when ticket is bought on Lufthansa, and we apply United plus points via the online form? Is it worth doing?

Delta ecredits - so I recently noticed 3 ecredits on my Delta account that expire end of this year and say they are non-transferable. I am sure these ecredits are from flights that I cancelled more than a year ago. At this point, is it fair that I use these ecredits for personal travel?

What points do people buy? I currently have Delta sky Miles points as my main point balance, but I see videos online talking about being able to buy miles/ points directly form a company. Thoughts or resources?

Has anyone managed a 24" suitcase as a carry on, on a southwest flight? I think I remember seeing that was an acceptable size; just curious if the reality of carrying on that size luggage was truly a non-issue.

Tips on flying in Southwest - going to book my first flight with southwest but have heard that sears are not assigned and the system works a little differently. A Delta flight I took from the US to the EU a few months ago was delayed 24 hours (of which I spent at the airport) and when I asked for a refund for the $1300 ticket they declined and offered a $150 gift card 😂🥴🙃
