Any one familiar with comp for a Portfolio Associate roll at PIMCO on their mortgage backed securities team? I’m looking at an offer and want make sure I’m in line with the average comp for the company and industry. Only 4 months of experience and offer is 98k w/ 10-20% bonus plus 15k relo/ sign on. Looking at Glassdoor, bonuses seem higher than quoted by the hiring manager. (No written offer yet they say they’re still working on it)

Clearly you’ve never flown Spirit…
I did once. Never again. I wrote them to complain and I got a response telling me I am no longer welcome to fly with them. No worries, I won’t.
You ever fly SWA ?
Oh no, they charged you according to the clearly laid out standards because you didn’t follow the clearly laid out standards, what a terrible airline
Can you upgrade me next time? I learned spirit named their flight after the souls that leave the passenger’s body during takeoff and landing

I really miss Virgin Airlines. I wish Alaska never acquired them. 😞

Yeah, there's still Virgin Atlantic for the trans-Atlantic flights to the UK. Virgin serviced the West Coast and Alaska bought them to increase their routes/service areas.
It's a bummer because Virgin was such a fun airline to ride. Their safety videos had catchy songs and the planes were new with cool interior lighting. Staff were super friendly and engaged. It was awesome!

I’m flying Alaska in a couple weeks. I chose the MSP layover on the outbound flight because I want the Delta miles, but coming back I chose the direct flight on Alaska. I’m sure I will come to regret this decision.
I was a Delta loyalist til I moved to the Pacific Northwest and switched to Alaska. Both have been great, but I suppose it depends on where your primary routes are.
