Have a long flight with Qatar airways and going to choose my seat. Better to go with window or take a chance with the middle rows and see if no one sits next to me?

I’ve often had this dilemma. I’ve ultimately decided middle is too risky. I go window towards the back of the plane and then keep checking middle rows around me as rows board. Oftentimes a couple rows in the way back middle will be open, so I sprint up to grab those. I then immediately lay down and pretend to be asleep so no one can come sit next to me 🙃

Don’t the seating close few hours before the flight boards?

You have to understand the market. Post Covid, every flight will be fully booked.

Aisle seat as far back as possible. Ability to stand up to stretch or use the restroom is more important to me than resting my head against the window. I don’t do flights over 8 hours though, especially in economy. I break it up into two flights.

Looking for referrals for a Technical Sales Executive position that is Remote (USA), possibly in the industrial sector. Last year I made $109k at AT&T so I'm hoping to at least stay in the same ball park but want a change. I have lots of experience selling IT/telecom, but I also have a Mechanical Engineering background so I'm a good fit for a wide range of technical sales. I have been thinking a role in the industrial sector with a longer sales cycle may be a good fit, can travel up to 25%

I have an offer and want to negotiate

1. London base salary but I have to absorb all the expenses (train + stay)
I am thinking to negotiate to

2. home base salary and have my expenses paid for

I know that's depends on the amount I have to travel (and potentially stay) but at the moment this is unknown. Past 8 months was just twice a month + 2 nights stay.

The only thing I know is it won't be every week, the return trian ticket is about £80-100, depends I could plan ahead.

All the reimbursement and other stuff which goes to partner for approval , does partner actually sits and review all those and approves it or does he have any secretary or assistant to approve all that.

Currently 4 expenses(1 internet, 2 Cab, 1 Flight) which are awaiting partners approval and I am really concerned if he's gonna come shouting at me 😂
