Idk about Miami, but the South beach W is pretty sweet, especially if you get upgraded to a suite. Also seems like an extremely reasonable price for Super Bowl weekend...
The JW is way better than W Brickell. I live here.
W
Yeah I got lucky with last minute inventory that opened up. Sadly the rates for the south beach one are through the roof. The W I’m holding right now is in Brickell
Also FWIW I am platinum, in case one provides better elite benefits than the other
E1 are you talking about the marquis or the one in brickell? I’m holding the latter for now
The JW in Brickell is super nice and has a great platinum lounge if you have status. I've stayed at both before I moved here and was surprised at the rooms in the W (they're older).
The JW is only a couple blocks from the W but the hotel is very dated. I’d stay at the W instead, you’ll have Brickell city centre a block away and Cipriani and Cantina la Veinte on the same property as the W
The W has a nice rooftop! Marquis was better imo, but haven’t been to JW. If you value lounge, then stay at the JW
There’s a another hotel within the JW Marquis, called the Beaux Arts. It’s nicer than the Marquis, the rooms have better views and have a private check-in on one of the high floors.
