Curious how people in a similar situation have setup beneficiaries for estate planning. My partner and I have no children. We’re not married. But we’ve been together for nearly 10 years and own property together. My parents are both alive. They are ok financially but not wealthy. I have a brother who does quite well for himself. I want to take care of everyone and not cause any rifts.

I have friends that have back office positions but never received an offer letter & their company still doesn’t use them now. Has anyone given notice & started a new position without an offer letter? Do international companies provide something else in lieu of a formal offer letter? I know offer letters aren’t legally binding anyhow, but seems they’d provide something. (International = Canada)
