My family is in need of a residential real estate lawyer who works within disputes and can practice in Haywood County, NC. Does anyone have any good leads on who I can contact? Basically, my dads co-owner of a property gave no notice and did NOT involve him in leasing the property they are joint owners of. He cannot evict as he is NOT involved in the leasing agreement. I’m a fourth year cap markers US associate in London. Started my career here after law school and looking to lateral back to a firm in the US. Genuinely open to anywhere but have long term prospects of making partner, and conscious that majority of my practice here has been unregistered work. Should I just head back to NY (went to law school there and barred in NY) and gain more SEC registered experience should I be looking for more secondary markets since long term would not want to stay in NY

I am an associate at a small firm and was licensed last fall. I clerked at this firm through law school, so I knew most of the partners before starting as an attorney full time, except some of the new ones we have acquired since. I have several cases that I am the only responsible attorney on and quite frankly, feel like I have no clue what I’m doing half the time. I ask questions, but feel like I’m being a nuisance if I ask too many. I guess I didn’t expect to be solely (cont. in comments)

Advice for young attorneys dealing with non-billable workload? I’m still my first two months at my firm but a ton of the work I’m being assigned is non-billable. I understand if I’m not still fully on boarded but how are we supposed to keep up billables while being given time consuming non billable work?
