Any advice on how to get clients to pay your invoice on time / what to do when they don't? I'm currently working with an agency who agreed to net 30 terms, but has been late with every invoice so far...It's probably a lost cause on this particular job, but Im wondering if there's anything I can do in the future to avoid this situation. How would you rate the freelance market at the moment? I’ve recently quit fulltime, and beyond a couple of my own (LLC) short client projects - I’ve had zero agency freelance over the summer.
I have 10 years exp (2.5 as CD on well known brands) at respected agencies, and some awards.
What am I doing wrong? I left FT to address some long term burnout, but now I’m afraid if this continues - I’ll have to go back full time, without even snagging a FL gig. 🫤

Friendly reminder folks- don’t work for Havas Health and You. They cut the freelancers hourly rates, again and made it so there’s no OT. The resource manager at HOV said if I couldn’t swing $80 an hour as an HCP copywriter, she’d have to find someone else. Good luck 👍🏻
