I’ve been tasked right off the bat with implementing Facebook Workplace as an engagement/communication tool. I looked it up and seems fairly easy, especially as a facebook user. But as with anything it can be a challenge to get employees to actually use/check it. So-- does anyone have experience with Facebook Workplace? If so, what are some things that have worked/didn't work for you. Do you like it?

We are launching a DEI Taskforce and one if our objectives is to benchmark our diversity data with industry metrics (e.g. gender, age, race, etc). I've done quite a bit of research and can't find what I'm looking for. Any suggestions would be helpful.
How do you review resumes in a way that reduces implicit bias? I just finished reading the book, "Biased," which discusses the implicit biases we all hold. Our company has not invested in an ATS software, and we’re looking to create a scoring rubric / database in excel based on the job description and candidates. What are ways to ensure the resume review process controls for bias and is still efficient / expedient?
If your competitor reached out to ask “how do you sell against us” would you tell them? They should already know... or at least have an idea.
I'm wondering - who has great success with LinkedIn? I can get anyone to accept me as a connection but to engage them, I fail every time! What has worked for you to get engagement on there?
What are some ways your team is staying connected? As we know HR is always taking care of the business, so I am curious how HR has been taking care of themselves during this time. Thanks!
We are a 13000 headcount company and offer only PPO medical plans to employees. If we want to offer a different Medicare plan to a business unit in California which has headcount of 30, can anyone suggest what’s the best option ?
I keep hiring sales people who are super enthusiastic and overpromising on what they deliver. I put them through a trial month (no base + commission only) and they do not close a single deal, Even though the commission structure is amazing and I’m incentivizing them through the roof. We experienced sales people are asking for a base and commission but I’m scared that I’ll end up having a base and the same thing will end up happening. What am I doing wrong?
We've had a few instances of possible COVID sick employees that returned with negative test results. Upper management is basically asking if there is something they can do to help control what employees are doing in their off time (ie. going to bars or other places with a lot of people). They even went as far as to mention something about a wedding that 3 of the employees are in together. Can an employer have ANY control over an employee's time off? It seems crazy to think that they think they can.
How documented and transparent is the performance evaluation process at your orgs? Do your orgs go out of their way to publish the process broadly to employees?
If firms go exclusively remote, I have zero reason to remain living near “home office”. Likelihood we’ll shift to that model, and can live wherever?
It's great to finally have a bowl of our own! In terms of HCM software, what is something that all of them tend to be missing, aside from a good user experience?
There is a former employee who made some questionable purchases with his company credit card. Are we allowed to deduct them from his last paycheck?
The current administration has banned critical race theory-based diversity training across federal agencies claiming education around white privilege is anti-American. As someone who is dedicated to anti-racism work, I believe these conversations on the pervasiveness of systemic racism are necessary in order to dismantle the broken system and are central to our work as HR professionals. I fear what precedent this ban will set. Thoughts from other HR pros? https://www.forbes.com/sites/janicegassam/2020/09/05/trump-bans-diversity-training-claiming-its-divisive-anti-american-propaganda/

I'm in the final round of interviews and last Friday, the recruiter asked for my availability to come in. I immediately responded with my schedule and still haven't heard back yet. Bad sign?
Ease of exiting consulting into a project/product manager role at a top tier software / video game firm? Most job postings say "must have exp. delivering $MM game," but can a $MM case count??

Has anyone considered applying for a role that would be working directly underneath a friend that you haven’t spoken to in awhile? I feel this could be really awkward.

Are International Tax groups safer in terms of layoffs than other tax groups or is it the other way around?

Hey All! I have my first virtual interview this week and was wondering what the dress code is for virtually interviews? Are recommended still blazers recommended or would a blouse be enough?
Ladies, at what point did you reveal your salary to your significant other and did it changed your relationship at all? In a previous teaching career, I had no issues revealing my salary to any close friend, and I vented about money constraints all the time. Now that I'm making a decent income, I've been way more protective of this info, and I'm not sure if it's something I should/could be more open about or if I should just follow my instincts here.
Looking for advice: I have a goal to own a P&L in an FS company. Currently M in strategy consulting. What do I do during consulting to put myself on that path and when is best to exit?
As a Staff 1 I can’t stand when the Staff 2 tries to Senior me. You have seniority over me, I get it, but at the end of the day we’re both just Staffs. Chill out
Sometimes I feel like I am being layered/held back at my current level. I have been told multiple times that I am performing at the next level but I feel like I can do much more and I feel ...cont.
