CEO’s out there guaranteeing no Covid layoffs, cutting their own salaries and creating employee relief funds. Aside from employee videos, which leaders in advertising are stepping up with actions?
Over the last year I learned that my boss is gunning for me. Downplaying my achievements, twisting things I’ve said and never going to bat for me. We are civil, but we are no longer close. Do I need to accept her LinkedIn invitation? I really don’t need her to have access to my network or somehow see me job hunting?
I'm a Manager who would like to be promoted to Director in the near future. While reflecting on how I've developed in my role with my current company, I've realized that the only development/coaching I've received has been on how to interact with the difficult personalities on our leadership team. I know that messaging is important, but this feels really specific to individual's bad behavior.
Is this common for someone who is looking to move from Manager to Director?
Our HR/recruiting department is working on what we're calling an "Attract" score. Essentially, we're wanting to find a way to measure success when it comes to time-to-fill, attrition (or lack thereof), candidate experience, etc. Is anyone using a particular "formula" to calculate this success overall, or are you just tracking it all individually?
Has anyone transitioned from direct sales to indirect (channel, solutions consulting, etc.)? I’m an Enterprise AM currently (6+ years of total closing experience in SaaS) but looking to make a change sometime in the next 18-24 months. Certainly expecting to sacrifice financial upside but growing tired of the grind.
How likely is it to land a job at one of the BIG 4s with an internal referral? Also, how long has the process been for those who did indeed land the job?

Negotiating a salary bump. Says I need to wait until revenue is recognized (Q1) and the promotion period finalizes (Q2) to give the bump. Is that true? I feel like I can get my value elsewhere faster.
I was asked to make a 30 60 90 for a sale. I feel like it's kind of basic and find my 60 and 90 slides are sparse. Anyone able to offer suggestions? Really appreciate it!!
Thoughts on transferring from the marketing or PR side to advertising? Is that even feasible by the time you're mid-level?
What do you think about going to ad school to become an art director? Is it a must? It looks like most people at big agencies went to an ad school or majored in advertising/art direction. I saw some posts saying they didn’t attend ad school and made it, but that appears to be 10-15 years ago. Would reeeeally love to hear stories of those who didn’t go to ad school and still got into a great agency, and what the journey was like. Please! And thank you.

Hello! I am looking to get into Product Management. Does anyone have any advice on the best way to get into it? Best certifications to take? Any books or courses as well? Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!
Hi there - my company is returning to office next month. Hybrid to begin before they ramp up to 5 days back in office by end of year.
I think the fact they want to bring us back 5 days is disrespectful considering how much work we’ve put in remotely over the last year. Not to mention productivity studies say people who WFH (and have no kids) are substantially more productive.
All that being said, does anyone work at a FinTech/Tech company whose RTTO policy is more flexible? Looking to leave

My HR has just called me to let me know my LWD but apart from that no document or mail to confirm my lwd. Can anyone tell me what is the process? Also in Ultimatix it is showing that I'm on Active Assignment and Confirmed employee. Is it not supposed to change after i send my resignation? Please help me figure out the process.
